Manufacturing

Our OH APRIL styles are manufactured in Northern Portugal and designed in Germany. We set great store by ensuring that manufacturing takes place very close by so that we always have an overview of the manufacturing and all processes, as well as minimizing transport distances.

We have therefore carefully selected medium-size family businesses to guarantee high product quality and fair working conditions.

 

Our team in Portugal is a very big part of OH APRIL, as not only do we manufacture our clothing by hand there, a large amount of our materials and yarns are also produced and spun for us in Portugal. For example, our exclusive jersey fabrics for t-shirts, sweaters and homewear have been developed by us and then woven and dyed in Portugal, before being used to create our premium products. Our knitwear is produced using equally high-quality methods. The yarns come from Germany and Italy and are used to create our premium knitwear by a family business. Each pattern piece is knitted individually before being knitted into the finished item of clothing. The process, from the yarn through to the finished garment, usually takes up to 4 months.
